We hold monthly Family Walks which are a great introduction to walking for all ages. Ideal for a Sunday afternoon these walks start after lunchand last for 2-hours. OS73 Sunday 18 May C+ 11k (7ml) Circular from Cockburnspath to Neuk farm and Tower farm. OS67 Sunday 25 May A 16k (10ml) Corbett, Beinn nan Oighreag, in Glen Lyon. 880m ascent. OS51 Sunday 25 May C 10k (6ml) Circular via West Saltoun, Saltoun Forest and Gilchriston OS66 Sunday 1 June B 18k (11ml) Circular in little Glenshee (Bankfoot area), via Corrielea, Formal Hill (312m), Maine Folaich and Glack. OS52/53 Sunday 8 June C+ 10k (6.5ml) Circular from Spott village via Spott Dod, Highside Hill, Spott Lake and Spott Glen. OS67 Friday 13 to Sunday 15 June. Weekend on Arran. A & B walks on the island of Arran, staying at Lochranza YH Sunday 22 June B 18k (11ml) Circular from West Linton via Baddinsgill Reservoir, Cauldstane Slap, East Cairn Hill, Bore Stane, Carlops and Stonypath. 300m ascent. OS65 Saturday 28 June A 13k (8ml) Christine's final munro - Ben Wyvis, starting 09.45 from Ben Wyvis car park, and followed by the now traditional celebratory meal in a local hotel .. Optional overnight stay Friday 27th June at Inverness YH Sunday 29 June C 10k (6ml) Balerno circular via Harlaw and Green Cleugh. OS66 Sunday 6 July B 16k (10ml). Joint With Musselburgh Group Circular from The Brunt, WW2 underground bunker, Woodhall Dean, Crystal Rig Windfarm, Bransly Hill, Elmscleugh. 250m total ascent. OS 67 Sunday 13 July A 14k (9ml) Munros, Ben More and Stob Binnein. 1600m total ascent. OS 51/57 Sunday 20 July C 11k (6.5ml) Circular via Pressmennan Wood, Burnhead Wood, Hartside, Rammer Wood, Deuchrie.
